Interning from Denmark, Lasse is kicking of his masters degree studies in architecture with practical training at Open City Architects, bringing a Scandinavian touch and sensibility to the office’s already careful nerve of work.  Highly influenced by the Northern European architectural scene this collaboration of experiences will resolve in a powerful, still sensitive approach to work of design, and how it responsibly intervenes in its surroundings.

As enrolled in master programme of Aarhus School of Architecture he is gaining experience in engaging with society through design development as a part of the school’s key values. With the school’s teachings based on a tangible and clear artistic approach to architecture this contributes to his position as intern at Open City. The internship will also be a personal growth laying an important foundation of work experience to become a professional architect.

Lasse is staying with Open City until late January 2016 but is looking forward to return to South Africa in the future.
